A tool for the promotion of forest research

“Small research projects” is a research competition established and funded by the University Forest Administration and Management Fund to promote research in university forests, giving undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to take their first steps in the field of forest research , under the supervision and guidance of the faculty members of the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment. This program started in 2019. So far, eleven (11) separate research proposals have been approved. It is compulsory, the final results of each research work, must be presented at a conference at the end of the academic year.
